James Corden surprised fans with some sweet treats as he enjoyed a fast food break during filming for Gavin and Stacey this week.
A fan has shared a video of the actor, who this week made the revelation that he turned to controversial jab Ozempic, at a KFC restaurant in Barry on Tuesday.
The footage sees James leaving the fast food spot, which happens to be a favourite of his character Smithy and his on/off girlfriend Nessa.
As he heads outside and towards the crowd, fans start chanting ‘Smithy’ before James offers up a tub of Celebrations chocolates.

The sweet gesture comes after the Gavin and Stacey star admitted he has turned to the latest celebrity staple in an effort to trim his waistline: Ozempic.
James, who first found fame on slimming club comedy Fat Friends, has not had the same success with the hugely popular jab and has stopped taking it claiming it didn’t work for him.
Instead, he said he ‘really resonates’ with those who argue that battling with mental health troubles can lead to food addiction, revealing he binge eats giant chocolate bars in his car.
The 46-year-old said: ‘I tried Ozempic, and it won’t be surprising to you when you look at me now, that it didn’t really work.’
‘I tried it for a bit and then what I realized was I was like, “Oh no, nothing about my eating has anything to do with being hungry.”
‘All it does is make you feel not hungry. But I am very rarely eating [just because I’m hungry].’
Ozempic is a diabetes medicine, which costs around £200 a month, that has become a Hollywood favourite among those attempting to slim down, and works by suppressing the appetite.

But James thinks his tendency to binge eat is more deep-rooted and said that he ‘really resonates’ with friends like TV presenter Richard Osman, who have recently spoken about how his own food addiction was triggered by childhood trauma and mental health struggles.
The former chat show host said: ‘You are looking at someone who’s eaten a king size, and when I say king size Dairy Milk – one you give someone for Christmas – in a carwash.’
‘None of that was like, oh, I’m so hungry. It is not that, it’s something else.’
James, who made the comments on his Sirius XM show, acknowledged how his food issues are tough to beat given he is a person ‘with an addictive personality’.
Meanwhile fans will see if James’ character Smithy makes it down the aisle with Ruth Jones’ Nessa in the hugely anticipated Gavin and Stacey finale.
Smithy and Nessa have famously had an on-off relationship over the course of the BBC sitcom, with the show’s 2019 Christmas special ending on a cliffhanger after she proposed.
After the last Christmas special ended on a proposal cliffhanger it looked as though Smithy could finally get his happy ending with Ruth Jones’ Nessa
Viewers are eager to see if they will finally get the happy ending they had hoped for in the last ever episode, set to air on Christmas Day.
And to add fuel to the fire, cast members Ruth, Joanna Page, Julia Davis, Alison Steadman and Melanie Walters have been seen filming a girls’ night out for Nessa’s hen do this week.
It was reported that bosses were forced to implement extra security measures to keep the Christmas special plot under wraps after a huge element of the script was leaked. Bosses are said to have ramped up security after a photo was taken of James, who plays Smithy, holding the script, which contained the plot detail, while filming in a department store.
After the setback, producers are said to have warned the rest of the cast to be careful, especially with filming bringing so many fans to Barry.
Gavin And Stacey’s final episode will air on BBC One on Christmas Day (L-R) James as Smithy, Mathew Horne as Gavin, Joanna Page as Stacey and Ruth as Nessa
‘Everyone is excited for the return of Gavin, Stacey, Smithy and the gang so naturally interest is at an all-time high,’ a source told The Sun.
‘Every day fans are flocking to the filming sites in Cardiff and Barry Island to see the cast filming and take their own photos and selfies.
‘It’s a challenge trying to keep key storylines under wraps but the cast have been reminded to be on alert.’
The BBC declined to comment when contacted by MailOnline.
