The highly-anticipated Super Bowl starring the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers will kick off at 6.30pm on February 11.

Both teams squared off for the title in 2020 with Patrick Mahomes leading his Chiefs to the Lombardi trophy. Kansas City won the Super Bowl again in 2023 and look to build their dynasty with a third.

The defending champions finished the season on top of the AFC West with an 11-6 record. They went on to defeat the Miami Dolphins and put on an all-time classic with the Buffalo Bills before upsetting the top-seeded Baltimore Ravens in the AFC championship game.

On the other hand, the new-look 49ers secured the top seed in the NFC with a 12-5 record behind quarterback Brock Purdy and running back Christian McCaffrey.

San Francisco dispatched the Green Bay Packers and came back to defeat the Detroit Lions to cement their spot in the Super Bowl.
